Comfrey is a hardy, drought tolerant plant that is a clumping herb comprised of multiple stalks.  It prefers well drained soil and full sun to partial shade. Grows between 36-48 inches. Comfrey will put nutrients into the soil, mulch trees, and shrubs, prevent weeds, feed livestock, attract beneficial pollinators, and make quick compost tea.
