CLEOME (Cleome hassleriana) (Flowers June-First Frost) — This is a great pollinator plant that brings in bumblebees and butterflies. It generates a pungent odor and leaf structure that is reminiscent of a powerful and dynamic plant that is on the verge of becoming legal in the United States, Cannabis sativa. Can reach 4-6 feet tall and will capture your attention when you get near it! We acquired the seeds of this variety from a Community Garden plot at The Ohio Agriculture Research and Development Center (OARDC) that was abandoned; Nancy couldn’t pass up the seeds from this beauty!
