GROWING SOMETHING GOOD...

A Place for the Wild Things

In 2024, we were awarded the Climate Smart Fieldscapes grant through the Center for Regenerative Agriculture at the University of Missouri.  This grant enables small farms to use their land to address important climate and environmental needs.  Many small farms, Dirt Beast Farm included, would not be able to afford implementing these projects without such grants due to the inherent financial constraints of agriculture (these Climate Smart Grants generally do not generate income for the farm, but they do generate wider community benefits, such as clean air and water, preventing soil erosion, providing habitat for native wildlife, and a lot more.
